Thai Yoga Stretching Massage is a holistic healing practice that combines the traditional elements of Thai massage with the principles of yoga. It is performed on a floor mat, with the client fully clothed in a relaxing and meditative environment. The practitioner uses a variety of techniques, including palming, knees, elbows and feet, to stretch and massage the client's body.
This is a passive practice. The practitioner will move the client's body into different positions and apply pressure to specific points in order to release tension and improve flexibility.
Assisted stretching is performed on a massage table, with the client fully clothed and actively engaged throughout the session.
The practitioner will guide the client into different positions where contraction and relaxation of the muscles will be incorporated.
Assisted stretching can help to reduce your risk of injuries by improving your flexibility and range of motion. It can also help to reduce muscle tension and pain, improve circulation, and reduce stress.
